Palace of Spagnuolo

One of the most beautiful palaces in Naples, located in the Sanità district, the district of Totò. The beautiful palace, located just a few steps from Piazza Cavour, has truly characteristic stair ramps that develop symmetrically in the internal courtyard. The vaults are finely decorated with soft and elegant tones. In one of the apartments on the first floor, the owner opens her beautiful home to her guests with theatrical or musical performances in an intimate and truly magical atmosphere. Some shows are preceded by a tasting personally prepared by the owner and eaten in her kitchen, rich in many objects inspired by the theatrical environment.

Not far from the other famous Palazzo Sanfelice, the palace of the Spaniard competes with the latter for beauty. Like the other, it is a private structure and is not a museum;

Located in Via Vergini at number 19 in the Sanità district, in the heart of the city's historic center.

It was built in 1738 commissioned by the Marquis of Poppano Nicola Moscati. The project, including the construction of the monumental double ramp staircase, called "falcon wings", which was designed as a sort of meeting place where there was a real social life, was entrusted to Ferdinando Sanfelice, while Francesco Attanasio was asked to carry out the rococo-style stucco work, which he designed, but executed by Aniello Prezioso. Later, the palace was purchased by a Spanish nobleman, Tommaso Atienza, whose nickname, the Spaniard, is the reason why the palace is now called that way.
