TIP: Go on a weekday at the opening to avoid the crowds of the weekend and to access the entire museum, including the Egyptian section and the one with erotic paintings from Pompeii, which closes in the afternoon. The visit, even at a brisk pace, to be exhaustive and to see as much as possible, requires at least half a day, and in fact, the museum has a bar inside where visitors can take a break.
