A very rich museum that exhibits religious works and those related to the Angiò family. This is also a must-see attraction, those who visit Naples should also visit the Santa Chiara museum.
HISTORY:
The monumental complex of Santa Chiara was built by the will of King Robert of Anjou and his wife Sancia of Majorca. The museum is divided into 4 rooms: archaeological, reliquary, history, and marble. In the archaeological section, there are remains of the ancient baths of Neapolis. The cloister has wonderful tiled columns connected by seats with tiles depicting scenes of daily life and vegetal festoons.
HOURS: 8 am - 12:45 pm and 4:30 pm - 8 pm.
