The Archaeological Park of Cuma is the oldest of the Phlegraean Fields, was established in about 1925, limited to a part of the Acropolis; it was extended during the 50s to the sector of the Lower City around the Forum. The Park therefore does not include the entire urban area of the city (Acropolis and Lower Town), as it is identified by the perimeter of the walls, of which at present it occupies only about 40% of the surface.
