Platanos reopens on November 6, 2024, near the seafront of Chiaia, Naples.
A new colorful bar with exotic atmospheres, different from the speakeasy L’Antiquario.
Two weekly musical events are planned and the return of the gastronomic section.
At Platanos, you enter through the door at street level and you come into a first small room with about a dozen seats. You then move on to the second room, where the counter with four seats is located, "for face-to-face tastings with the bartender" and some other tables. There is also a third room with about fifteen covers, which ends towards the kitchen, downstairs. "The basic idea is the same as the 'first' Platanos, " say the managers, "an informal and fun environment that is right for various moments", with a joyful but detailed setting. The idea is to open at 6 pm and continue until late at night, closing at 1 am during weekdays and 2:30 am on weekends.
