On June 16, 17, and 18, 2023, the Rione Sanità of Naples hosted "Tur de Vasc", a traveling theatrical project dedicated to Eduardo De Filippo. Conceived and directed by Carlo Geltrude, with dramaturgical consultation by Mario Gelardi, the event was produced by the Nuovo Teatro Sanità with the sponsorship and support of the Fondazione Eduardo De Filippo. The journey took the audience through the alleys of the neighborhood, with performances of three works by Eduardo inside the characteristic "bassi":
"Filumena Marturano", performed by Lalla Esposito and Ivan Castiglione;
"The Contract", with Imma Villa, Luca Saccoia, Ciro Burzo, and Anna De Stefano;
"These Ghosts", with Agostino Chiummariello, Gennaro Maresca, and Roberta Astuti.
The initiative involved around a hundred people, including neighborhood residents, musicians from the Youth Orchestra Sanitansamble, and participants in various artistic workshops. The project was part of the urban regeneration program "RigeneraTur", winner of the public notice "Creative Living Lab – 4th edition" promoted by the Directorate General of Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture.
