Here are the main updates:
Increased capacity: the funicular will be able to transport 20% more passengers, which means 250 people per direction.
Improved safety: safety standards have been enhanced.
New schedules: the service will be extended until 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays and until 12:30 am on Sundays, for both the Funicolare di Chiaia and the Centrale. From Monday to Thursday, at least one of the two funiculars will close at 12:30 am.
Frequency: all 4 funiculars in Naples will have a frequency of 10 minutes.
